Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior BI Engineer with strong expertise in Tableau report and dashboard development. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in business intelligence, data visualization, and analytics, along with domain knowledge in Life Insurance. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain high-impact BI solutions that drive decision-making.

This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain high-impact BI solutions that drive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports
- Translate business requirements into effective data visualizations and BI solutions
- Work with large and complex datasets from multiple sources
- Optimize Tableau workbooks for performance and usability
- Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and architects
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance standards
- Support ad-hoc reporting and analytical requests
- Provide guidance and best practices for BI and visualization standards
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a BI Engineer / BI Developer / Analytics Engineer
- Advanced proficiency in Tableau (Desktop & Server / Cloud)
- Solid SQL skills and data querying expertise
- Experience with data warehousing and BI concepts
- Ability to design intuitive and business-friendly dashboards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Life Insurance domain knowledge (highly preferred)
- Experience working with insurance data models, KPIs, and metrics
- Familiarity with financial / actuarial / policy data
- Experience in Agile / Scrum environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Exposure to other BI tools or analytics platforms
- Data modeling experience
